Frequently Asked Questions

As my import-export broker or agent, what services do you provide?

To get started, provide us with details on the item, or type of item, you are looking to import.  We see if we can manufacture the item at one of our factories.  If we cannot, we will work with one of our established manufacturing partners.   We then oversee your project from beginning to end, including: design of the project, finding the most competitive bid for your project, making sure the molds and samples are made properly, quality checking the production, making customs and export arrangements, etc.

Why should I use an import-export broker or agent instead of going direct?

We have our own plastic and wood factories, so where we can make your product directly, we will.  We also have an import-export arm of our company that has been operating reliably for over 35 years.  We know which factories are able to produce quality items for the most competitive price.  In fact, since we have long time partnerships with our factories, the end result can actually be more cost-effective.  Our import-export agents work to save you money in the long run, including saving you from the need to hire salaried employees and from importing a container full of defective items from unvetted factories.

What is the minimum quantity for a single production order at the factory?

Our minimum quantity depends on many factors including: 1) the materials of the item to be produced, 2) whether you have ordered other items to be produced and shipped together, and 3) the time of the year.  We will work with you to do everything we can to help manufacture your project, but ideally, minimum quantities are at least 1,000 pieces, though at times we have worked with clients to produce quantities as low as 250 pieces.

How long does it take to produce an item in China?

The amount of time required to manufacture an item times depend on many factors including: 1) the materials of the item to be produced, 2) whether you have ordered other items to be produced and shipped together, and 3) the time of the year.  We usually need approximately 45-60 days, but during high season, some items may require 90 days.

Our factories’ high season begins around late May and lasts until early September.  This means that if you want your production to be delivered in time for the Holiday shopping season, orders should be placed at the very least by early May.  Our factories’ summer production line begins getting filled even before May, so please send in your orders as soon as you know it.

How do I pay for my order?

In order to keep our pricing as low as possible, we accept wire transfers only.  We use only reputable and globally recognized banks, so you can be assured that your transactions are secure.

How do I arrange shipping and customs?

We will work with your preferred team of freight forwarders and customs brokers to make sure that your products get to you as early as possible, without the headache.  If you are new to the game, we are more than happy to take you step by step through the process.

Do you produce your own items?

Yes!  We have our own wood and plastic factories.  Where we can’t make the item ourselves, we also partner with trusted suppliers with whom we have vetted and have had a long-term relationship.
